The St. Vittas have had an off-season and a new head coach.
Louis Rams traded away their starting QB, a veteran, to the Stavins in exchange for a conditional seventh-round pick in 2018.
The Stavillas made their choice and picked up the first overall pick, which is currently #3 overall.
The Rams signed rookie wide receiver D.J. Moore to a two-year contract with a $1.25 million signing bonus, according to the Associated Press.
Vincent and the Granadines will play in the Pacific Nations Cup this summer in Hawaii.
The team will also play in a regional tournament this summer.
The Rams signed their second offensive lineman, a former Mississippi State star.
With the trade, St. Venites had to trade their sixth-round draft pick in 2019 to acquire the third overall pick in 2020.
In 2019, the Rams signed former Miami and Clemson defensive end D.C. Wilson, who played in four games in 2018, according the Associated News.
On June 1, 2018, the Stvins traded their seventh- and ninth-round picks to the Rams for the third and fourth overall picks.
The Rams will use their pick in the second round in 2021, according The Washington Post.
St. Vincent will be a part of the Pacific nations tournament in Hawaii, where they will play against the Grenades in 2018 and 2019.
According to the AP, the move was made after the Rams were “furious” over the Stovians trade.
The AP also said that the Rams “had hoped to bring in Wilson in the trade as a free agent.”
As part of their move, the Chargers gave up an additional pick to the team in 2019.
The Stovis had the second overall pick of the 2018 draft, but were unable to move up for the player that they had originally selected in the first round, the AP said.
“It was a little bit of a surprise,” St. Joe’s coach James Loeffler told the AP.
This move has come at a critical time for the Stvinces program.
Their program is in the middle of a rebuild, having just finished the 2018 season with a 7-9 record.
Loefflers first-year coach, David Wiltjer, has since been fired and the team will be searching for a new coach.
The program has not played in the league since 2013.
