(AP) The Florida Legislature approved a bill Tuesday that would end tax incentives for corporations that stay in the state.
The measure would require Florida to pay the $50 million in corporate tax incentives to companies that stay for more than five years.
The tax breaks would be phased out over five years starting in 2021.
The House approved the measure by a vote of 38-1, with Democrats supporting it.
The Senate approved it by a 16-5 vote.
