First travel company to hire new nurses.
The first travel agent to hire the next-best travel agent in the industry.
Travel Agency Mico announced in a blog post Monday that it has hired 50 new nursing workers to fill its nursing staffing needs.
The company said it is recruiting a total of 20 new nurses over the next few months, including full-time positions.
The new hires will work with a network of existing nurses, as well as the nurses that are currently on staff.
The hiring spree comes as nursing shortages have become more pronounced as the nation braces for the arrival of the holidays.
“Nurses are a critical part of our nation’s healthcare system, and we need to ensure they have access to quality care during these difficult times,” said Karen Hensley, CEO of First Travel, which is headquartered in Miami.
“We’re excited to be adding additional resources to our staff to ensure that we’re ready for the challenges ahead.”
The hiring spree has created quite a stir among nurses.
One of the most popular blog posts on the nursing blog, Nursing 101, has been written by one of the new nurses, Kelly Kline, who has a degree in nursing and is an RN.
She shared some thoughts about the announcement.
The announcement of the hiring spree is a very positive move and I’m proud to have been chosen as the new leader of First.
I was a little hesitant to get the offer, because I’m a little new to the industry, but I am glad I did.
I feel like it’s going to be great for the future.
One of the reasons why I got the job was because I was looking for a new job and this is going to put me in a great position.
But I’m glad that I am a new nurse and I can be part of the team.
